The internet is completely different than it was in 1995, 2006, 2014, or 2019. Search Engines are out, direct browsing and insite search are in. Most websites have SSL and the telemetry system is being turned off for most devices. The ones that don't have it turned off by default or as a standard configuration are usually experimental devices. The conversation on data export, data cleanup, or data delete is for another time, check your privacy settings. Most websites are on SSL by default and over 90% of that is automated by computer algorithms.
Its kind of rude to end up on someone's profile without an invite but most people will be polite and play it off. You might actually be interesting. Bryton knows Payton, and she knows Salish.
This video came up on my feed, and I was invited to see other videos.
There should still be a "Can you find find my Fiance video" on the recommended videos for this video.
His newest video as of this post, lets you click directly on his username to go to the profiles of other people in the video. Pretty cool browsing feature. Hover over and click through on this video.
Once you're on YouTube, the browser tracks some data that can be deleted. A lot of things are automated and hardly anyone has access to the data that correlates a device to a platform. After you've watched a few videos of someone you're now familiar with, you can type their name in the YouTube searchbar, onsite searchbar, and it should list the correct profile. If it doesn't, don't feel bad, try and remember their username and type it directly into the browser bar. It might help to keep a small notebook with some of your favorite YouTubers usernames.
Mark Rober has the same thing on his channel, he has two videos setup like this so far, click on the videos tab. The way I found out is because the video posted here, was recommended to me in science class.
Hover over and click through on this video.
Its a pretty nice new feature, that makes browsing the video platform safer. I like the recommended videos are now more related to the profile than the browsing history and most video profiles have a search bar that lets you search their profile only.
